Planning Ideas for Your Usborne Middle School Book Fair

"Get Real!"

Usborne's award-winning selection of non-fiction makes it easy to get middle school students excited about non-fiction!  We'll highlight science topics, world cultures, foreign languages, history, music, art & hobbies, and our True Adventure chapter books.

Special Event Book Sales

Include Usborne with your special event, and earn free books or cash for your program!

Our art and drawing books are a perfect addition to your Art Fair! Our science and experiment books are a perfect addition to your Science Fair! Our music books are a perfect addition to your strings concerts or piano recitals! Make our chess books available to your Chess Club students!

We also have a fantastic selection of Spanish, French, German, and Italian foreign language books for your foreign language clubs and events.  Our popular First Thousand Words series is now available in nine languages!

Combine our science, art, music, and hobby series for a wonderful addition to your Gifted and Talented events for students and parents.

Usborne Book Fairs as a Community Service Project

Our unique and versatile programs offer the flexibility to combine our book fair with a community service project.  At the middle school level, students can participate in our Reading Incentive Program in the weeks prior to the book fair, collecting pledges for minutes read.  The community service component can be further emphasized by having students read to elementary-age students in reading intervention programs, children in local Head Start programs, or other preschoolers.  Pledge money can be used to donate new books to the children.   The book fair held at the conclusion of the two-week Reading Incentive Program will generate additional free books for your school's donation.
